Where did this come from?
Hey Everyone! I'm Brandon Baker, the founder of One Name Remains. I hope you all are enjoying our products! Here a bit about how this brand was started!
How did I get here?
Growing up, I didn’t fully understand the magnitude of what Jesus did for us. Faith was something I knew of, but not something I truly grasped.
When I went off to college, I drifted. I stopped going to church and started chasing what the world told me would satisfy — people-pleasing, status, and desires that were far from holy. I lived for the approval of others, not for the One who gave me life.
After college, I hit rock bottom. It was the kind of low that strips away your pride and illusions. In that place of emptiness, I decided to go back to church with my mom. And it was there — in that brokenness — that I encountered Jesus again. I discovered that when you hit the bottom, Jesus is the rock waiting for you there.
I was the one lost sheep He came after — and He found me.
From that moment, my heart caught fire. I started reading my Bible daily, diving into community through church and young adult groups, and learning what it really means to follow Jesus. It isn’t always easy — but it’s more fulfilling than anything the world could offer.
One day, I was scrolling instagram and came across a piece of Christian clothing that I really liked and ordered it. When it arrived, a thought hit me: what if I tried do this? What if I tried to create something that not only looked good, but pointed people to Jesus?
That was the spark. And from that spark, One Name Remains was born — not just as a business, but as a mission.
Through every shirt and hoodie, my goal is to plant seeds, spark conversations, and help spread the Gospel to all creation. I want to encourage believers to be bold in their faith — to step out, speak up, and wear their faith in a way that invites others in.
God has been so faithful to me. And the more I walk with Him, the more I understand just how deep His love runs. Thank you for reading my story. I pray this brand blesses you and reminds you of who you are and whose you are.
